previously had dslrdashboard installed, abouit 2 years ago - all worked perfect.
replaced/updated tablet with purchased of qdslrdashboard
removed the old app, as redundent without trying.
Tablet still connects to the MR3040 BUT, qdslrdashboard does not find the MR3040

What change is required for qdslrdashboard to find the connected device?

Check that your MR3040 has the latest firmware.
Best you do a firmware upgrade with the sysupgrade image and following the instructions: https://dslrdashboard.info/tp-link-mr30 ... e-upgrade/

yes i have now applied the MR3040 upgrade - I can connect the android to the wifi MR3040, but the app qdslrdashboard does not find the device.
2nd problem:
I have also upgrade the Windows 10 notebook to qdslrdashboard V3.5.3, it can not find the Canon 7D via USB, although i connect with Canon remote s/w. I did make sure that the Canon software was shut down before attempting to connect with qdslrdashboard. The MOCO shows comm9, click on that port, the window closes, but camera not accessed.

goodnews, that the android tablet with the purchased version of qdslrdashboard app connects and works fine when connected directly to Canon 7D with USB cable.

Windows qDSLRDashboard connectivity resolved with driver | MR3040 will continue another time, probably reflash firmware and start fresh.
Thank you
