Does the software qDslrDashboard support Nikon D5?

Yes, the D5 will work with qDslrDashboard.

How should setting be a n camera for it to work? Im not able to connect neither if i put it to hhtp mode or PC control mode or ftp mode. Im not able to change port number in the qDSLRDashboard program , connection property for nikon camera, ip address i was able to change.
What transfer method is qDSLRDashboard using? Something that is not standard since the portnunber value us 15xxx.
Connection to camera works because i can connect to http but now i need to Know correct setting and mode for the qDSLRDashboard to connect.

It will work with USB connection.
