I apologize in advance, I am quite the amateur at this kind of thing. I purchased the TP-3040 wireless devise and flashed it per the instructions on the video supplied. I successfully did this, however the TP-3040 was on 3G/4G when I did this. It would not connect to the camera. So I did a "sys" upgrade on the TP-3040 (flashed it with the upgrade) withe the devise set to AR setting. No luck. Do I need to upgrade the DDSERVER PACKAGE UPDATER? And just so I'm clear, all I need to do is connect the TP-3040 to my camera (Nikon D800) via the USB cable? The software for camera control is installed on my iPhone 6.
Thank you in advance.

Re: Nikon D800 and Connectivity
Did you use the OpenWrt firmware downloaded from here: http://dslrdashboard.info/downloads/
From your web browser can you access the OpenWrt web interface at http://192.168.1.1 ?

Re: Nikon D800 and Connectivity
Yes I did download the OpenWrt and was able to access the interface. I think I screwed it up the first time. I got another TP-Link3040 and flashed it "correctly" this time (on the AP setting, not the 3g/4G) I got it to work with a Samsung Galaxy Tab4 (Android), but still not with my iPhone. After getting it to work on the Galaxy, I tried my iPhone again and still the TP-Link could not find my Nikon D800. It should be able to work with both correct? Thanks for your reply and help.
Re: Nikon D800 and Connectivity
Yes
Did you try on iPhone to long press the 'Network' button and enter 192.168.1.1 and then press the 'Connect' button ?
