I'm afraid without that knowledge you won't be able to do anything.
As far I read the Piratebox is installed without the Luci packages so you don't have the web interface.

You would use the OpenWrt ddserver factory image: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxMZ8X ... sp=sharing
